NEW INFORMATION REGARDING TWEETUPS!  READ ON!

With just a few days left until this year’s Interactive Festival, I thought it would be a good idea to let everyone know exactly who and what they will be hearing on Saturday.

In addition to the breakout sessions, we also have three different areas of the building set aside and designated for Tweetups.  This will allow you the chance to meet fellow tweeters as well as further your networking.  Score!

I’ve already told you that we have an exciting line up of panelists; so who are they? Every day this week I will feature one or two of the panels, giving you a brief overview and introducing you to the speakers listed on that panel.

The Basics of Using Video and Audio on Your Site

This is a panel for anyone interested in showcasing their web video, podcasting, or just uploading home videos to their blog. We’ll get into the basics and how to of setting up a web video show or podcast, what equipment is best to use, how to actually get the media onto your website, and much more. We will also provide some help troubleshooting for those who may be having issues with their current systems. This will be an audience driven panel, so come prepared with questions that we’ll be happy to answer.

He maintains his own sites as well, christopherfiles.com and thefilesfiles.com and is an avid goat herder.

This discussion will revolve around the new and emerging tools in communication and development. In particular, you will discuss Google Wave – the newest communication/social networking/sharing tool. You will also learn more about Adobe Air as a development platform – what’s good, what’s bad, what’s available. And finally, Cloud Computing – the pros and cons of having your life out there in the ether. This is a roundtable, so the depth and breadth of the is discussion is up to you!
